New Balance's retro basketball low top is back in a weathered retro look on the 550 "Vintage Red". Originally released in 1989, the 550 continues its return in a white perforated leather upper with tonal leather overlays accented with red hits on the piping, collar, heel tab and heel counter. The puffy N logo on the side has has much of the red worn off of it, while the aged, off-white midsole features several scratches and scuffs. The large tongue tag displays an old school New Balance Basketball logo, while an embroidered 550 on the front quarter and NB on the heel take care of the branding. An aged black and red rubber outsole completes the design.
