Pharrell Williams has been one of adidas' core collaborators for years now, and here he takes time away from his NMD HU collection to redesign one of the brand's most iconic silhouettes on the Pharrell x adidas Superstar Primeknit "Human Race". The rapper/designer/mogul replaces the standard leather build with a monochrome woven Primeknit upper that also mimics the contours of the signature rubber shell toe. Contrasting embroidered adidas branding on the tongue and Human Race on the heel, a woven Trefoil logo tag on the collar, tonal striped laces , a reflexology chart graphic on the insoles and a tonal rubber cupsole finish off the design.
