Converse and Chinese designer Feng Chen Wang continue their creative partnership with her unique and personal vision for the Feng Chen Wang x Converse Jack Purcell Mid. Feng has transformed the classic silhouette with an unconventional design that incorporates her name, not just as branding but as part of the actual construction. The PU-coated nubuck and leather upper features enlarged Chinese characters that spell out Feng Chen Wang as layered panels that wrap around the heel and vamp, marrying the concept of personal heritage and history into the build of the shoe. The details include a tonal canvas heel strip, tonal laces and stitching, and co-branded comfort wedge insoles. A hearty rubber toe cap, matte rubber foxing and vulcanized cupsole finish off the design.
