Nike combine several details from some of their classic '80s running silhouettes for a new kids model that also nods to Phil Knight's old car on the MD Valiant (PS). Inspired by iconic runners like the Daybreak and Challenger, the MD Valiant, named for the '64 Valiant Knight sold shoes out of during the company's early days, pairs a suede and mesh upper on top of a foam midsole and rubber waffle outsole with a leather swoosh on the side. Two velcro straps allow for an easy on-off, while Nike branding on the tongue and heel finish off the design.
