Inspired the the history of Air Max, the Air Max Pre-Day LX "Beach Day" mixes the line's foundations with its next evolution to create a brand new track-inspired sustainably built silhouette. With a design that echoes the look of Nike's '70s-era runners, the Pre-Day is made from at least 20% recycled materials, like the sleek beige recycled polyester mesh and ripstop nylon upper that incorporates scrap pieces into the design. Tonal suede panels, purple leather swoosh, white suede tongue tag and black nylon heel loop finish off the details on the upper. The midsole adds innovation to the construction with the new Air MI, a fully exposed air unit that creates a uniquely soft bounce in the heel. It's covered with an articulated outsole made from rubber that contains about 13% of Nike Grind recycled rubber.
