British designer Wales Bonner and adidas Originals continue their ongoing partnership with a new collaborative collection that explores the Trefoil's lasting presence within Jamaican culture. The Wales Bonner x adidas SL72 Knit "Dark Brown" takes the retro runner out of the archives and recontextualizes it with a construction and colorway that radiates Jamaican vibes. The upper is crafted in a brown mesh knit overlaid with tonal suede panels on the toe and heel, and rust orange leather on the 3-Stripes and heel tab. Brown leather tongue matches the laces, while co-branding on the insole and tongue, red leather lining, debossed Trefoil on the heel tab, Wales Bonner stamped on the heel and off-white midsole with ripple outsole complete the design.
