Following in the footsteps of the 2002R, another retro 2000s runner joins New Balance's deconstructed program with the 1906D "Refined Future". Alternately known as the "Protection Pack", the "Refined Future" collection gives this throwback to 2000s runners a luxuriously deconstructed look with a mesh upper overlaid with duoble-stacked jagged cut overlays of hairy suede on top of smooth suede. A unique 'N' logo that ties into the lacing system is overlaid on the sides, with New Balance branding on the tongue, toe and heel, 1906D on the rear quarter, and N-ergy on the midsole filling in the rest of the details. A thatched TPU heel cage, and off white N-Ergy midsole with Stability Web technology for arch support in the black rubber outsole completes the look.
