New Balance's latest entry in their deconstructed program goes for a tonal tuxedo vibes with the 1906D "Protection Pack". The collection gives this throwback to 2000s runners a luxuriously deconstructed look with a black mesh upper overlaid with duoble-stacked jagged cut overlays of tonal patent leather on top of smooth suede. A unique 'N' logo that ties into the lacing system is overlaid on the sides, with New Balance branding on the tongue, toe and heel, 1906D on the rear quarter, and N-ergy on the midsole filling in the rest of the details. A thatched TPU heel cage, and tonal N-Ergy midsole with Stability Web technology for arch support in the black rubber outsole completes the look.
