New Balance's high tech tribute to early-aughts running shoes joins their 2023 Lunar New Year Collection, inspired by the Year of the Rabbit, with the 2002R "Lunar New Year". The sleek upper is built from black mesh overlaid with brown pig suede panels, tonal laces and a grey leather 'N' on the sides. A dark grey suede perforated heel counter, light grey leather accents, red branding (in honor of the new year) on the heel, and branding on the tongue and collar finish off the details up top.
