New Balance injects the DNA of their signature 99X series into a brand new model, the 9060, that marries an early aughts aesthetic with modern technology. This "Black/Blacktop/White" 9060 constructs its upper from black layered mesh, black nubuck and white leather in a retro-futuristic Y2K aesthetic. Branding appears courtesy of 991-inspired tongue tag, white leather N on the lateral side and embroidered white line N on the medial side. A translucent heel counter sits just above the sculpted dual-density midsole featuring ABZORB and SBS cushioning. Finally the split pod outsole features a diamond pattern inspired by the 860 to finish off the heritage influence.
