New Balance's latest heritage-inspired silhouette, the XC-72, is inspired by '70s-era concept cars and modern comfort. Designed for all day wear, the shoe is made with a black mesh upper overlaid with black suede panels on the toe, eyestay and heel with a tonal microfiber tongue and white stripe on the toe. A black tumbled leather 'N' on the side, white laces and black heel clip fill in the details up top, while a black EVA midsole adds cushioning and dual-tread details on the  black rubber split outsole that creep up over the side of the front quarter finish off the design.
