New Balance's latest heritage-inspired silhouette, the XC-72, is inspired by '70s-era concept cars and modern comfort, and designed within New Balance's Green Leaf standard that includes over 50% recycled content on the mesh and suede upper and at least 5% recycled content in the sole unit. The shoe features a lilac mesh upper overlaid with pink suede panels and a seafoam leather 'N' on the side, an exposed foam tongue and seafoam stripe on the toe. White laces and heel clip, and black branding fill in the details up top, while a white EVA midsole and dual-tread details on the black rubber split outsole that creep up over the side of the front quarter finish off the design.
