Imran Potato, the playful and subversive New Jersey-based designer, joins forces with Vans for his first official footwear collaboration that includes the Imran Potato x Vault By Vans SK8-Hi VR3 LX. For his first Vans capsule, Potato carries on the spirit of his viral sensation Caveman slippers with his take of the Sk8-Hi, with a pair of child-like hand appliques wrapping around the sides the playful highlight of the design. The shoe retains it's classic build, with a blue canvas and black suede high top upper on top of a white cupsole. Colorful co-branding on the tongue and heel, and a custom printed Potato waffle gum rubber outsole fill in the rest of the details. The silhouette is also a part of Vans VR3, representing the brands journey towards 100% regenerative, responsibly sourced renewable and recycled materials for the brands top four materials by 2030.
