Our good friends at the Atlanta-based boutique, Epitome, has partnered with Saucony to create a beautiful and distinct version of the iconic Shadow 5000 silhouette. Inspired by the 65 foot "Big Fish" statue located across the street from the shop, and mystical elements of Middle Eastern culture, the Epitome x Saucony Shadow 5000 "Righteous One" features a teal upper dressed in premium pig suede and a high grade leather toe box covered in an embossed fish scale pattern. The buttery soft leather lining leads to a memory foam insole covered in a fish graphic. A white midsole and translucent outsole, both infused with gold flakes, provides the base. As a finishing touch, a "hamsa", which is a middle eastern symbol that provides protection, appears on the tongue while the "eye of conscience" is present on the formstripe, to guide the way to the path of righteousness.
These gorgeous shoes will be available this Saturday at Lapstone & Hammer. They are super hot and super limited, so be sure to get down to 1106 Chestnut street bright and early as these will be first come, first served.
