Did you ever have that one ex that you can never seem to let go of? You still haunt her social media sites, sleep with her old tee shirt, even date girls that look like her. Nike has one of those, and his name is Kanye. This Saturday, March 5th, Nike is set drop yet another shoe that is seemingly patterned after a Yeezy 2: the Air Foamposite Pro PRM "Pure Platinum".
While the actual shape and design are very different, there are several aspects of both shoes that are similar. From the Pure Platinum colorway, to the Bright Crimson lining, to the glow in the dark outsole, this shoe does share an awful lot with Kanye's "Pure Platinum" release from 2012. But is that a bad thing? I think not. If your going to copy a shoe, you might as well go with one of the most coveted sneakers of the last ten years. Although for Nike's sake, I hope with this release they are finally able to let go of Yeezy and embrace what they have now in Drizzy.
