Travis Scott is a sneaker god. That much is undeniable at this point. From his Air Jordan 4 last year to his AJ 1 High and AJ 1 Low models from this summer, the hype and anticipation has seemingly grown exponentially with each one of his releases. That escalating frenzy continues with this week's release of the Air Jordan 6 Retro SP "Travis Scott".
The Houston rapper's latest take on a Jordan retro covers MJ's much-loved sixth signature in an autumnal palette of military green and black with infrared branding accents. A canvas cargo pocket on the lateral ankle of the premium suede upper has to be the standout feature, while it also ties into the canvas tongue and lace cover. Infrared Cactus Jack branding appears on the lace lock and right heel (with Nike Air hitting the left heel), as well as inside the cargo pocket and tongue. The design is finished off with 3M reflective detailing behind the perforated side panels and a translucent green glow-in-the-dark outsole.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro SP "Travis Scott" releases on Friday, October 11th @ 10:00am. It was only available via an in-store raffle at our 1106 Chestnut St. location in Philadelphia. Winners will be contacted on Friday to pick up their pair on Saturday.
