Asics remixes their GEl-Lyte III silhouette yet again, with an all over patchwork denim construction in their new "Ranru Pack". Inspired by the Japanese tradition of "boro", a technique for mending textiles with mixed patterns and heavy stitching, the "Ranru Pack" dresses the seasoned split-tongued runner in a multi-tonal black denim upper featuring several different patches and patterns stitched together beneath the signature formstripe. A cushioned denim sockliner, stitched branding and speckled tonal laces finish the details up top, while a white GEL infused midsole and gum rubber outsole supply the base.
