Last Friday Lapstone & Hammer hosted a release party for the debut issue of Interlaced magazine, a new lifestyle publication founded by Tom Nguyen. Nguyen, along with writer Joe Pitts, created Interlaced to grow the city's shared culture by shining a light on local artists, musicians, designers, skaters, BMXers, photographers and shops who share the same mindset and attitude. That culture was on full display last weekend at the store, where the packed house danced, drank and celebrated the unique conglomeration of life that is Interlaced.
