Nike is celebrating East Coast bike culture with the release of the Air Max 95 Big Bubble "I-95" on Thursday. For this special release Lapstone is partnering with our friends at the KB Foundation and local Philadelphia bike crew, One Way, to "Ride Together" in the spirit of the shoe's theme to give away new bikes to high-achieving local students.
KB Foundation has identified 10 kids from their programs who have been singled out by their teachers and mentors for having achieved major accomplishments and made significant improvements over the last year. These 10 kids will be receiving new bikes courtesy of Lapstone in recognition of their hard work and achievements. One Way, Philly's preeminent bike crew, will be on hand for the Bike presentation and to perform a riding demo of tricks and stunts in front of the store on Thursday, 2/19 from 5pm to 6:30pm.
Beginning in Baltimore with the Charm City's legendary street bike scene and moving up the I-95 corridor through Philly, Jersey and NYC, this high-energy movement is built on skill, creativity and pride that continues to inspire young riders, turning streets into spaces of shared passion. The Air Max 95 "I-95" merges utility and expression, infusing the classic silhouette with thorough toughness inspired by the young bikers of Baltimore, Philly and beyond. Molded TPU pairs with heavy-duty mesh and metal d-ring eyestays for a look that's rugged and ready for the ride.
The Air Max 95 “I-95” along with the Ride Together apparel collection releases tomorrow 2/19 FCFS both in-store and online at 10AM EST.
