As Philadelphia prepares to welcome MLB All-Star Week, we are partnering with Under Armour to honor the city and the game with a limited-edition release of UA's brand new lifestyle sneaker, the HB-Lo “All Lines Lead Home”, alongside an accompanying Artist Series project and special launch event at the shop on Sunday, July 12th.
For this installment of our “Artist Series” with UA, we are honored to feature local legend and big talent: KING SALADEEN. Together, we cooked up a range of jersey’s in Saladeen's inimitably vibrant abstract style that will release alongside the HB-LO at a special launch event at our storefront on July 12, giving locals and visitors first access before the shoe goes into wide release.
This sneaker transforms Under Armour’s new basketball-inspired silhouette into a tribute to the movement and energy that pulse through the city every day. The shoe features a fully reflective all-black upper inspired by the illuminated atmosphere of Philadelphia's subway tunnels after dark, accented with the signature color system of the transit line. Additional design details feature a graphic mapping system that travels down the tongue and insole as a visual reminder that no matter the route, all lines lead home.
“Philadelphia has always had its own fashion language, with the way people move through the city, the grit, determination and passion that drives them,” said Lapstone founder Brian Nadav, in regards to the project. “Partnering with Under Armour to release something that looks and feels like home was truly special.”
The Under Armour HB-Lo "All Lines Lead Home" and the LH x UA x King Saladeen "Artist Series" jerseys release on Sunday July 12th at 12pm EST both in-store & online at lapostoneandhammer.com. Then from 5-7pm come down to 1106 Chestnut St. to celebrate the launch with us for a happy hour event featuring special guests, cocktails, refreshments, a live DJ set and more of King Saladeen's "Artist Series" artwork.
