Vans and NASA have teamed up to pay tribute to the government agency's 60th anniversary of exploring the universe by releasing a collection of shoes and apparel inspired by the original space suits, dubbed the "Space Voyager" capsule. The collection features unique design details like exposed foam and official mission patches and logos integrated onto some of Vans most iconic silhouettes and classic apparel pieces.
The "Space Voyager" capsule includes two SK8-Hi 46 MTE DX styles made from black and white full-grain leather that showcase authentic removable mission patches and space boot styling on their rugged sole units. There is also a pair of Old Skool models in white and orange full-grain leather that also boast removable patches and space boot midsoles to go along with a clean look that features NASA logotype branding. A black "Voyager 1 & 2" hoodie, orange and black quarter-zip nylon anorak and a white Snag Plus backpack finish off the collection's offerings, which will all be available starting November 2 at 10:00am.
