Nike has been releasing several stellar versions of the Air Max '97 this year in honor of the shoe's 20th anniversary, but this latest Air Max '97 Premium release might be the best of them all. Soft premium suede paneling graces the classic wavy lines of the Japanese Bullet train-inspired upper, in addition to the usual mesh and leather construction. The four new colorways adopt a natural palette of pink, tan, grey, beige and white tones, with white embroidered branding, pull tabs and a white midsole with full length visible Max Air unit that matches the dominant tone of the colorway. 20 years in, and this might be the most fashion forward iteration of the fan favorite heritage runner we have seen yet.
