Philadelphia’s three premier streetwear boutiques are coming together for an unprecedented collaboration that celebrates their status as Philadelphia fashion icons with the P’s&Q’s x Lapstone & Hammer x UBIQ “P.S. Bermuda Triangle Project”. In honor of P’s&Q’s 7 year anniversary, the shop wanted to represent the hardship of ALL brick and mortar streetwear stores in Philadelphia by cooperating with “the competition” on a tribute to the three brands' continued existence in the city’s tough retail scene.
The “P.S. Bermuda Triangle Project” is a capsule of three custom tees designed by each shop, with a concept that represents the triangular location of the stores (South St., Chestnut St. and Walnut St.) and references the many others who have entered into the streetwear scene and have never been heard from again.
Lapstone's design for this capsule is a quite literal take on the Bermuda Triangle theme, covering the 100% cotton tee in a hand-dyed multi-tonal blue pattern that embodies the sea, sky, wind and clouds found in the titular triangle. The three store's logos are printed on the front, while the back features a group of airplanes that represent the many stores that have gotten lost inside vortex- symbolized here by the spiral form printed above more co-branding. The design is finished off with "ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE" printed below "Philadelphia Streetwear Bermuda Triangle Project" across the shoulders. The shirt costs $40 and runs from size S - 3XL.
The P’s&Q’s x Lapstone & Hammer x UBIQ “P.S. Bermuda Triangle Project” will be available on Saturday, October 12th @ 10:00am both in-store and online.
