The biggest clothing brand in the world is joining forces with one of the biggest pop stars in the world as Nike teams up with K-Pop icon G-DRAGON's fashion label, PEACEMINUSONE, to create the Air Force 1 "Para-noise".
For this release, the King of K-Pop wanted to inspire the youth of his native South Korea, and the world at large, to unite through a creative exchange of ideas to create an artistic utopia. The "Para-noise" translates that vision with a unique upper design that features a layer of black paint that wears away over time to reveal an original artwork personally created by G-DRAGON that represents the utopia he imagines.
The deceptively simple looking silhouette features an embroidered daisy logo on the tongue, embroidered Nike Air branding on the heel, a PEACEMINUSONE logo on the interior lining and insoles that match the hidden painting on the upper. The shoe sits on a white AF1 sole unit marked with brush strokes of black paint, while removable custom pins for the upper eyelets and a backstage pass-style hang tag finish off the details.
The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 "Para-noise" will release on Saturday, November 23rd @10:00am. It is only available via online raffle that ends Thursday, 11/22 @ midnight. Sign up here.
