Brooklyn-based production company Vanilla is joining Lapstone & Hammer for a release event this Friday, August 19th 2022 in celebration of their new collaborative project. Following the launch of their party series "Vanilla Wave", Vanilla co-founders Jonathan Richetts and Victor Suarez are partnering with Lapstone & Hammer on a limited edition capsule that will only be available in-store during this event.
Brooklyn-based artists Jonathan Richetts and Victor Suarez founded Vanilla to curate and produce high quality projects and events like this to bring diverse individuals together to promote collaboration within the creative community.
The concise collection consists of three T-shirt designs and a trucker hat. One special co-branded shirt displays Vanilla's "sparkle" logo replacing the iconic Lapstone & Hammer decal above the store front.
"I don't want to over-saturate the merchandise," Richetts stated, as he intends to keep things exclusive for this release. Upon opening, the first 50 attendees will receive a free 1/1 spray-painted shirt by the duo at the store's opening event.
The event, hosted by 1Giselle, will also feature music by DJ Leave Mier Alone as well as an open bar featuring local favorites Two Robbers seltzer and Stateside Vodka. The party runs from 7pm to 10pm this Friday, August 19th at Lapstone & Hammer's 1106 Chestnut St. location in Philadelphia.
