With this year's edition of the NBA All Star game emanating from the "House That Mike Built," Jordan Brand is celebrating their Chicago ties with special releases like this WMNS Air Jordan 1 High OG "UNC to Chicago". This All Star colorway pays homage to Jordan's rise from college to the pros by combining the iconic "UNC" and "Bred" colorways of his first signature.
Constructed from premium tumbled leather, the uppers run from blue on the heel and collar, to black on the side panels and toe cap, to red on the toebox. The color-blocking is accented with a blue swoosh, black laces and lining, and red on black Nike Air tongue tags. A white midsole and red rubber outsole supply the base, while a black Jordan Wings logo on the ankle, red and blue insoles, and a red leather hang tag finish off the details.
The WMNS Air Jordan 1 High OG "UNC to Chicago" will release on Friday, February 14th @ 10:00am. It was only available via in-store and online raffles that have already closed.
