This past Saturday was THE day to be down at Lapstone & Hammer, as we kicked off the summer with the Lapstone Summer BBQ. It was crazy hot outside, but the pool party vibes kept the assembled crowd cool for the event which featured the exclusive release of our "Lapstone Life" capsule of lifeguard-inspired tees, hoodie, swim trunks and hip packs, as well our very first YEEZY release with the debut of the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 "BUTTER". The energy was high all day long with a rotation of live DJs kicking out the jams and catered selection of BBQ bangers courtesy of Chewy's Food Truck. The climax of the afternoon was a Live Raffle conducted in-store for all unclaimed pairs of YEEZY's, giving everyone who took an L on the initial raffle a second chance to cop. All in all it was a great day at the shop, and the beginning of a great summer full of more parties, more capsules and more amazing releases from adidas + KANYE WEST!
