Corporate, Cincinnati's go-to boutique for apparel and footwear, is celebrating their 15th anniversary this year by teaming up with Jordan Brand for the Corporate x Jordan Air Ship PE SP "Light Menta". Corporate owner Matt Tomamichel transformed MJ's first NBA shoe with a luxe upper made of premium suede and leather colored entirely in a "Light Menta" hue that represents the royalty of The Queen City and pay tribute to a statue in Franklin Square. Tomamichel gave the shoe the “double-Swoosh” treatment, adding a white patent leather swoosh underneath the teal suede version on the sides. In addition to Nike and Corporate branding, the shoe features several messages throughout including “For the City” stitched into the collar in Tomamichel's handwriting as a nod to his journey from Cincinnati to Minneapolis, the shop's catchphrase “Got ‘Em” appears on the heel, and the inside tongues feature "Love You Larry" in tribute to Matt's late father on one shoe, and "We Did It Aub" shouting out his homie Aubrey on the other. A white midsole and grey rubber outsole complete the design.
