As a global sporting events descends on the U.S. this month, Nike looks back to celebrate another time the country hosted a worldwide competition on the Air Trainer SC SP "Atlanta Olympics". Following up on the 20 year anniversary release from 2016, this 30th anniversary edition swaps out the teal palette of the prior release for premium burgundy suede over a tonal smooth leather upper. White textile tongue and side overlays and metallic gold hardware nod toward the Olympic theme, as do the thickly embroidered orange peach and gold NIKE on the tongues. 96 laurel graphic insoles match the heel branding, while a white midsole and semi-translucent outsole exposing a multi-color design below finishes off the look.
