New Balance's high tech tribute to early-aughts running shoes looks to the trail for inspiration on their new 2002R "Green". The shoes ditch their standard construction for a look inspired by hiking boots, building the sleek upper from green leather overlaid with tonal leather panels and tonal Toe Protect reinforcement. Green mesh on the collar and green perf suede on the heel mix up the materials, while a white 'N' on the sides, white  laces, lining and tongue offer some contrast. An ABZORB SBS midsole and gum N-ergy outsole provide exceptional comfort, cushioning, support and shock absorption.
