The Made In USA 998 "Grey / Cream" stays true to the timeless design of the original 1993 model with a tonal mixed material construction. The classic silhouette is dressed in light grey pigskin suede on top of a cream mesh upper with black suede accents. It features a grey suede 'N' logo on the side, cream laces and lining, cream plastic accents on the collar and TPU heel counter. The 998 was the first model to have ABZORB technology in the midsole for increased shock absorption, with a black and cream Ndurance rubber outsole capping it off. A black and red "New Balance 998" woven tag on the tongue and black NB on the heels finish off this classic runner.
