The Book 1 "Rattlesnake", the next colorway of Devin Booker's debut signature shoe is inspired by a close encounter the All Star guard had with a reptile on a summer hike. The all white leather, canvas and mesh upper is built for breathable summer comfort with perforations on the toe and collar, while the textured faux-snakeskin swoosh jumps off the clean silhouette like a snake from the underbrush. Designed with his game in mind, the Book 1 pairs a Zoom Air unit in the heel with a plush white foam midsole and tonal outsole to create a responsive, broken-in feel from the jump. The design is filled with personal details like the leather heel tab, crafted to resemble a book's spine complete with pages inside and "Chapter One" stamped on it. His family's initials appear on the inside of the tongue in orange, matching the Book 1 branding on the tag, and the insole contains a barcode with his jersey number and the zip codes for Phoenix and Grand Rapids, his hometown.
