Japanese label Mountain Research lends their expertise to a classic '80s silhouette on the Mountain Research x Reebok Club C II Mid. Mountain Research founder Setsumasa Kobayashi drew on the tennis club roots of the shoe to create his minimalist version, with the notable addition being the large, removable leather lace guard or 'bonnet' that mimics the Club C's perforated tongue as well as cricket footwear protectors called 'pats'. The shoe itself consists of a white leather upper with blue accents and branding, an interior arch bandage with repeating print, and a fold over tongue label with Mountain Research branding.
