New Balance's 993, an often overlooked model in their 99X series, finally makes its way to the brand's reenergized "Made" series with the 993 Made In The USA "Chive". Originally introduced in 2008, the 993 combines elements from the 991 and 992 into one streamlined silhouette. The upper construction sees green brushed pigskin suede panels underlaid with tonal open weave mesh and tonal leather accents with hints of teal on the trim and branding. White laces, lining and tongue, green branding on the sides, tongue and heel, and a grey NB branded TPU heel clip fill in the details. The cream and white PU foam midsole features both ABZORB and ACTEVA cushioning while a blown rubber NDurance outsole provides superior durability. Made in the USA embroidery on the tongue and heel finish off the design.
