As Air Max Day approaches, Nike has gone back to their roots by bringing back the actual model that started it all, dressed in a classic blue colorway: the Air Max 1 '86 OG "Royal Blue". Nike replicated the iconic "Big Bubble" Nike Air unit and window used in the '86 original, stretched to its original dimensions, so you can step on the bedrock of sneaker history. The silhouette features the original '86 shape along with royal, white and grey color blocking but on updated premium suede and mesh, with royal blue hitting the mudguard and swoosh. The title color also hits the eyelets, insole, and tongue and heel branding. White laces and midsole, and a black rubber outsole complete the design.
