For their annual Air Max Day event celebrating the release of the very first Air Max sneaker on 3/26/1987, Nike highlights the next generation of Air technology featured in the Air Max Dn "All Night". The Air Max Dn is built upon the new Dynamic Air unit system of dual-pressure tubes, creating a reactive sensation and smooth transition with every step, updating the Tuned Air system of the classic Air Max Plus silhouette. The shoe is built from a black mesh upper with tonal textured fused overlays whose fluid appearance mimics the smooth heel to toe air transition of the cushioning system. Purple TPU midfoot shank and heel clip provide support while the Dn cushioning is visible through four circular pods in the heel that match the translucent fuchsia insert in the outsole. A grey Phylon midsole and  black rubber outsole completes the build, while Air Max Dn branding on the tongue, heel, Air pods and insole finish off the design.
