Lapstone & Hammer have come together with the Philadelphia Union to celebrate the team's record breaking season by creating a special collaborative collection ahead of their 2022 playoff run with the Lapstone & Hammer for the Philadelphia Union collection. The collection, featuring bespoke hoodies, crewnecks, tees, long sleeve tees, and socks, was created with design input from Head Coach Jim Curtin and Philadelphia Union Captain Alejandro Bedoya, and will be available this Saturday, October 15 in-store at Lapstone & Hammer and online at lapstoneandhammer.com. 

“It’s a special project for us, to work together with the Philadelphia Union and Major League Soccer and bring some of our design aesthetic and some of our overall vibe into a special collection commemorating the 2022 season and playoffs,” said Brian Nadav, Lapstone & Hammer.

The Lapstone & Hammer for the Philadelphia Union collection features two special co-branded logos infused with the DNA of both the Union and Lapstone displayed across a colorful range of hoodies, crewnecks, long and short sleeve tees, and socks.

The highlight of the capsule is undoubtedly the “Curtin” Jacket - a classic coach’s jacket inspired by Coach Jim Curtin, each piece hand numbered and autographed by Coach Curtin himself. The Denim Arch Hoodie is another standout, coming in four colors (Dusty Pink, Clay, Navy and Natural) that all feature premium 14oz denim appliqué laser-cut letters sewn on in a classic ‘varsity’ style arched design across the chest, and a special graphic on the back that intertwines the Union’s snake logo with a denim appliqué LH.

The Deco Crest Hoodie features the other custom logo created for this project: a graphic that combines the Union's team crest inside of our art deco Medallion logo. The Deco Crest also appears on the back of the long sleeve tee, with a barred PHILA print on the chest and Lapstone and Union lightning bolt hits on each arm. The short sleeve tees feature three different combinations of the custom graphics on the front and back in navy, white and light blue, while the socks boast an intarsia knit of the LH Snake logo in white, grey, navy and natural.

The collection will be available on October 15 at 10 a.m. at Lapstone’s retail store (1106 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19107) and online at www.LapstoneandHammer.com. Select items from the collection will be available at the Philadelphia Union shop on October 20 for the Eastern Conference Semifinal matchup at Subaru Park.
